Great mountain vest, 20th Sep 2018
Reviewer: Remi Berthelet
Bought this vest for my nephew, but got a chance to try it out before passing it on to the little punk. Great set up on this vest for using as a hiking backpack and fly fishing vest for accessing some of the mountain lakes along the Rockies. Hiked into Birdwood/Smuts Lakes (2 hour hike with ~500m elevation gain) this fall with a 2 litre water bladder (which the pack holds perfectly). Had plenty of room for rain gear, lunch and all my fishing kit. Large shoulder straps and great all round adjustments make it a great "one size fits most" pack. I love the "workbench" fly holders and the pocket selection and quantity is more than enough to independently store plenty of gear including a spare reel and loops for two 7 piece rods. Strong recommend for a vest that you want to double as a pack to access some more remote fishing spots.
