Shipping & Backorder Information
Shipping on your order is calculated prior to completing your checkout. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the checkout page where available shipping methods will be displayed.
Once your order has been placed it is our priority to have your products packed and shipped by noon the following business day.

All orders can only be shipped to the billing address of your credit card. This is for your own protection.  Typically this address is your home address. 

We ship by UPS and Canada Post . Each service is not available to all locations. During checkout you can choose from the available shipping methods.

Kindly allow 5-10 working days for delivery via standard shipping methods, although within Canada the average time frame is 2 to 5 days. This applies only to orders delivered to a valid address within Canada and the United States via Standard Canada Parcel Post. If you require your order faster than standard shipping, we have other options for you at great shipping rates.
 
In Store Pickup
If you requested In Store Pickup during the checkout process, we will call you when your order is confirmed and available for pickup. Please bring your confirmation email or order number to the shop to collect your product. Please note: We will be happy to hold the products until you are able to pick them up.
 
Backorders
Most items on our website are available for backorder if they are not currently in stock.
 
Our objective is to get your gear to you as quickly as we can while keeping your shipping costs as low as possible. If you have multiple items on backorder, we will hold any incoming items for 90 days to consolidate them into a single shipment. If any items in your order have been held for longer than 90 days, we will collect payment for any in-stock items and ship them to you. Any additional backordered items needed to complete your order will be shipped using the same 90-day system. All backorders outstanding more than 365 days will be cancelled. Unless you instruct otherwise, we will always use the most economical shipping method available.

Damages/Shortages
Although very infrequent, if you receive a damaged item or damaged package it must be reported to the shipping company immediately, and to Bow River Troutfitters immediately. This will allow us to remedy the problem for you by submitting a damages claim.

You must take clear photos of the product and packaging and email them to Bow River Troutfitters. You must keep all packaging materials, boxes, paper, bubble wrap etc.

Returns
Bow River Troutfitters offers free in store returns within 30 days of your purchase.
If there is a problem with any of your products please contact us immediately.

If you need to return a product please call first to obtain a return authorization number (ROA). We will not accept any returns under any circumstances without an ROA.

After obtaining an ROA, your return must be shipping back securely packaged in a box labeled on the outside CANADIAN PRODUCT RETURN. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

All returned products will be charged a 20% restocking fee, and $5.00 - $10.00 reboxing fee when applicable. No exceptions. Shipping costs are not refundable under any circumstances.
All sale items are final sales and can not be returned.

Warranty
Bow River Troutfitters supports warranties offered by a products manufacturer. Warranties never include reimbursement for labor time, damage to other components, travel time, or shipping cost.

Warranties are only valid to the original purchaser of the product, with original copy of the invoice supplied upon purchase.

We have made every effort to avoid errors in the catalogue and on our website. Despite our efforts a price, description or photo may sometimes be incorrect. If this happens, you will be notified of changes before we ship to you. Some pictures may vary slightly from the description.
