Schedule of events:
From Whistler Fly Fishing: The wise old man of the group, SBM usually has some well thought out point to add to any discussion, fishing or otherwise. Wanna talk fishing?, Scott is always willing to share his considerable knowledge of all things piscatorial. He has two decades of guiding experience(Mexico,Alberta,QCI ,northern BC) in his back pocket and also has experience as a fly shop manager, fly casting and fly tying instructor, commercial tier, outdoor writer, television personality, movie consultant, motivational speaker and all around fishy dude. Scott has served as President of the Steelhead Society of BC and has a good understanding of environmental issues and fish politics. An ‘angler’ in the true sense of the word, he spends winter Steelhead season in Whistler, guides the Dean in the summer, the Bulkley in the fall and still finds time to chase Tarpon in Cuba and Bonefish in the Bahamas. You could say that Scott lives to fish, certainly the month long saltwater trips and never ending Steelhead season support this.
From Loop Tackle: William Holmes has been fishing for over 30 years, for the past 17 years he has been owner/manager of Moorbrook Lodge Angling park and a full time guide and instructor for over 12 years. He holds the GAIA, APGAI advanced qualifications in both single and double handed casting/fishing techniques and is also a qualified marker and assessor he also holds IFFF MCI and THCI qualifications and is a level three examiner for the IFFF. Nowadays William spends his time in Ireland and the other half in British Columbia he specializes in Atlantic Salmon while in Ireland and Steelhead while spending the winter in BC.
We're extremely excited to be providing this opportunity and we hope to see you there!
